A Rare Early Victorian Extending Dining Table with Inlay to the Top Seats 14

A Very Good Early Victorian Extending Dining Table in Mahogany it has four original extension leaves, it is a pull out table the leaves are secured with brass clips, it stands on five heavy turned legs with original brass castors, the top has the unusual feature of an inlaid band around the perimiter of the top with circular inlaid stops to all corners, the condition is excellent being fully restored and French polished recently, we only use traditional methods and materials when restoring our tables, it has a label to the underside stating this table was built in Wakefield 1843 then it was in Southsea 1866 Thames Ditton 72 Nottingham 76 Lowestoft 79 Wakefield again in 85 then Leeds 1898, it is thought it lived in varous Universities during this period it will seat up to 14 diners but can be used with any conbination of the four leaves
