An antique 17th century carved oak and deal trunk. The antique carved trunk has a deal hinged lid, shaped with an adze tool that opens to reveal a neat interior. The antique 17th century trunk has an oak front panel with intricate geometric carved detailing, and is raised on shaped plinth feet. An antique trunk of primitive construction.

CONDITION REPORT:

In well worn antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related splits and shrinkage to the side panels (pictured), also a patch repair to the lid (pictured). The antique carved trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Replacement hinges. Overall, a charming piece.
