Rare Edwardian Boutonniere Vase For Button Hole / Lapel Flowers

A lovely and very rare Edwardian silver Boutonniere vase for the purpose of holding flowers in one''s button hole or lapel. A plain polished silver with protruding frame at the top designed to hold a small floral spray. Hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1903, Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker''s mark for the silver maker: Francis Webb.
 
 
 
A delightful and interesting antique, would make a fabulous gift for a discerning dresser!
 
 
 
Condition: In lovely condition (same very light surface impressions commensurate with age and mentioned for accuracy only).
 
 
 
Hallmarks: Birmingham 1903 by Francis Webb.
