Description

A magnificent, fine and impressive, rare antique 5.88 carat diamond, 18 carat white gold and platinum set Art Deco dress ring; part of our diverse diamond jewellery and estate jewelry collections
This magnificent, fine and impressive antique Art Deco ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold with a platinum setting.
The marquise shaped, pierced decorated multi-diamond design is ornamented with a stunning feature four claw set 1.06ct emerald cut diamond, set to the centre of the arrangement.
The feature diamond is flanked on either side by an impressive baguette cut diamond and this central arrangement is encompassed with an impressive trillion cut diamond to each cardinal point.
The stunning Art Deco design is embellished with six channel set baguette cut diamonds set in a vertical linear formation.
Eight further channel set baguette cut diamonds are splayed from the central design, alternating with four transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The surface of this rare antique dress ring is further embellished with fifty-six pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, completing the cluster style design.
The subtly elevated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the outer shank with the French maker's mark, the platinum mark (dog's head) and gold mark (eagle's head).
This impressive large marquise diamond ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
This large and iconic Art Deco ring is the finest example of its type you could hope to acquire.
Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
Condition
This impressive antique cluster ring is exceptional quality, set with a stunning feature diamond and trillion cut diamonds displaying a fine white colour, brilliance and presence.
The supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.
The large marquise diamond ring is an exceptional gauge of gold and platinum and is in exceptional condition, with very clear hallmarks to the outer shank; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of gold.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique diamond jewellery/estate jewelry.
