Description

A pair of rare solid silver earrings in Modernist style, likely dating from the 1960s-70s. Each earring suspends a beautiful translucent orb of chalcedony set within oversized claws. The natural polished stones are slightly different shades of slate blue-grey.

There is an indecipherable maker's mark on each post; the earrings are in the exact same style as Elis Kauppi's trapped orb pieces for the Finnish jewellery company Kupittaan Kulta and we believe he is likely to be the maker.

In excellent vintage condition.

Size: The total drop is approx 4.3cm. Each orb measures 11mm diameter.
