Aramis Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Three of the bands have different slice cut panel designs, and two are cut as quartered squares, two quarters being concave and two convex. The handle is notch cut for a good grip and the base is star cut. The cutting is typical of the Late Regency era c1820. There is no stopper and it is doubtful there ever was one, being a pouring vessel. A sparkly piece for the candlelit dinner table!
