An amazing condition original chest of drawers.
We are delighted to bring to you the finest example of a rare small Georgian (circa 1830) 5 deep descending drawer chest of drawers in fine quality Mahogany which is completely original and ideal for any period property. This stunning chest of drawers features its original ornately inlaid top frieze incorporating fiddle back mahogany veneer, boxwood inlays and ebony stringing to the drawer fronts complete with cross-banding to the top.
This chest features cock beaded edges (none of which is missing) which frames the stunning mahogany drawer fronts with ebony inlays and all of the drawers have their original finely turned Mahogany knobs. The finely dovetailed fruitwood sided and blue paper lined drawers are in near perfect condition, the drawers are smoothly operating and are very clean inside. The chest of drawers stands on its beautifully shaped typical Georgian shaped corner bracket feet and there are no loose joints or wobbles. This chest of drawers has just been carefully cleaned and waxed by us, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item there are obviously marks, scratches, dents and some old repairs here and there as expected with anything of this age.
