Artisan Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

Additionally, the bowl would grace a fine dining table as part of stylish interior decor.
The exterior of the bowl features some fluting on the bottom half and fine Victorian floral garlands chased above.

The bowl is raised by a pedestal foot which is crafted sturdily and the interior is fully gilt with a rich gold tone, contrasting the exterior silver colour and adding a layer of protection to prevent the contents from tarnishing the silver.

English hallmarks are present on the side of the bowl - marks are worn but can be identified.

CONDITION
Good Condition - The bowl is in good antique condition with no major issues. Some wear is present on the highpoints of the chased floral garland and hallmarks. A very small hairline is present on the side of the bowl where the original silver joining was made (as photographed in the last image).

We aim to overemphasise and state these issues to avoid disappointment and thus please rest assured they are not significant nor affect usage of the items.
