Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning pair of antique Swedish armchairs in satin birch. These were recently imported from Sweden, they date from the 1900-1910 period.

They are beautifully made from solid satin birch, with ebonised details on the bases. The frames are beautifully crafted, and the wood has a gorgeous colour tone. These have a generous yet elegant design, and are very comfortable to relax in.

The condition is excellent for their age, we have had the frames re-polished to a very high standard, and these have been re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric.

Depth – 31 inches , 79 cm

Height – 33 inches , 84 cm

Seat height – 16 inches , 41 cm
