Description

An unusual and pretty silver mounted photo frame from the George V era of refined elegance. It has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1906.The maker’s mark is present but is too unclear to decipher. The silver frame has an arched top and then undulates round in a symmetrical wavy design. The aperture is round, encircled by two raised bands in the silver. The silver frame is mounted on a honey colour oak easel back and this is shaped to accommodate the wavy design. Both silver frame and oak back are in excellent condition.
