Antique English Cast Bronze Mirror - Cherub or Putti Figure C.1860

Description

An absolutely stunning mirror, suitable for table-top display or wall-hanging. Beautifully cast, the mirror is obviously really solid and heavy being made from solid bronze. I have left the frame untouched with it's natural antique patination but it would polish up to gleam, that can be the decision of the new owner.

What obviously makes this a really special example is the adorable winged cherub on the top of the frame, beautifully cast.

The back is totally original with the folding easel stand in perfect working order and an integral ring used for wall-hanging.

Superb in every way and dating to around 1860. 9 1/2" wide 11" tall to top of cherub with an original bevelled glass diameter of 6 5/8".
