17th Century Oak Chest of Drawers

An intriguing 17th century antique Jacobean oak straight fronted chest of drawers. The antique oak chest of drawers has an arrangement of four full width drawers, each with geometric moulding to the draw fronts, and brass drop handles. Raised on turned feet. A rather wonderful 17th century antique oak chest of drawers.

Height – 94cm / Width – 89cm / Depth – 51.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In well-worn antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and shrinkage to the top (pictured), and further shrinkage to the side panels (pictured). There are also minor losses to one of the turned feet (pictured), and some splits to the front of the chest. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak chest of drawers remains structurally intact, with the drawers running well.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
