Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The stretchered mahogany base has fine carving and sits on brass casters, with a bold and sturdy overall design. This is also nicely finished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
