Description

Charles GOLDSBOROUGH Anderson (1865 - 1936) Full length portrait of a young boy standing before a window with garden landscape beyond, circa 1915, oil on canvas, signed lower left, within original glazed gilt gesso frame. Remains of frame makers paper label to the reverse.

In very good condition, some damage/losses to the gesso frame. Please note as the painting is glazed there is some reflection showing in the photographs, particularly to the centre left of the painting.

149cm x 93cm including frame (125cm x 69cm excluding frame)

NB: Charles Goldsborough Anderson was well regarding British portrait painter. His work can be found in various public collections including The National Portrait Gallery.
