Antique silver Record pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1918 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. Dennisons were based in Birmingham, UK and manufactured cases for various watch makers. The case is in good condition, just a couple of small shallow indentations to the hinged back.

The glass lens has light marking around the edge at the bottom but you have to look quite carefully to see it.

The dial has a very faint short hairline, difficult to see with the naked eye. Otherwise it is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single silver chain and a 1923 silver fob from Wolverhampton & District Amateur Sports Association.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
