The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model. It is in lovely condition, just a couple of small marks to the top of the back where the loop has pressed into the metal.

After examination, it seems that the movement and case are not original to each other although of a similar age. This is often seen where, in the past, it was more viable to change the whole movement rather than effect a time consuming repair.

The watch glass looks good to the naked eye, there are light marks if viewed through a magnifying glass.
The dial has a faint hairline crack. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a rolled gold double albert, each chain measuring 24cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
