Description

A smart and handsome antique Victorian period writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880’s.

It is very well made and of excellent quality, it has a simple yet beautifully styled design. The turned mahogany legs are sturdy and sound, this has smooth running drawers with brass handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

The inset green leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, the back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just the right amount of wear and patina.
