We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A harem ring, also known as a multi-band or stacking ring, consists of multiple interconnected individual bands joined together by a single thematic feature or central bar. Popularised during the Victorian era, these designs were favoured for their intricate construction and symbolic motifs.

Victorian jewellers frequently crafted multi-band rings using high-karat yellow gold or rose gold paired with turquoise cabochons. The buckle motifs and bands were joined using precise pin mechanisms or soldering techniques to ensure both structural strength and proper alignment.

Authentic Victorian pieces often display hallmark stamps indicating gold purity, hand-set cabochons or gems, and period-specific motifs such as buckles, snakes, or hearts. Inspecting the interior construction for hand-finished goldsmithing helps distinguish original antique items from modern reproductions.

A multi-row Victorian ring functions effectively as a standalone statement piece on the index or middle finger. Alternatively, it can be styled alongside plain gold bands on adjacent fingers to accent the central turquoise motif within a contemporary wardrobe.

Turquoise is a porous stone that must be protected from liquids, oils, cosmetics, and sudden temperature shifts to avoid discolouration. Clean the gold framework gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth rather than submerging the ring in liquid cleaners.
