The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss seven-jewel movement, adjusted in two positions, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Maxart SWJ, presumably the original retailer.
The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in lovely condition. The back of the watch has ornate initials, RAH.

The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is in super condition with handsome blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a 1933 fob for the runners up in the Soller Cup Competition, a Derbyshire football competition.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
