Antique Welsh Oak Linen Press Cupboard

A particularly attractive 19th century antique Welsh oak two stage linen press cupboard. The antique Welsh oak linen press has a two blind panel cupboard, with twist columns to the corners, and a moulded cornice to the top. The cupboard opens to reveal a fitted shelved interior, complete with a working lock and key. Below are three dummy drawers. To the base of the Welsh oak linen press is an arrangement of two short over two long drawers, each with wooden knobs. The antique linen press is raised on bracket feet, and has a wonderful honey oak colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the drawers (pictured). The antique Welsh oak linen press remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Comes apart in two sections for ease of transport. Overall, a fantastic example of an antique linen press cupboard.
