Victorian Antique Pine Trunk

An intriguing Victorian antique pine trunk or chest. The antique pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior and candle box, lined with the original newspaper dated May 1887. There are exposed dovetail joints to the corners, and original metal carry handles to either side for easy lifting and transport. The antique pine trunk is raised on a plinth base. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good rustic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout (pictured). There is further wear, including staining to the newspaper lined interior. The antique pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a fantastic antique trunk with plenty of character.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
