Here are a lovely pair of Victorian Stourbridge vases in clear glass with applied green detailing and swirls - very reminiscent of Stuart and Sons. Each vase sits on small shell like feet, and has a flared neck, and wide rimmed body bearing the green glass chevrons.
As both vases are hand blown, there are slight differences in the overall appearance of each one, but I personally think that this adds to their appeal, both being one of a kind.
Each vase stands 14cm high, 11 cm across their widest point and 8cm across the top.
Both are in good ''used'' condition, commensurate with their age, with gentle wear in areas, but with no chips or cracks. One of the vases has some popped bubbles on the inside of the neck, but these date from their time of manufacture and are a result of their hand blown nature rather than later damage, there are also some other bubbles present and a few tiny black specks. Please see the photographs to study the condition.
