Regency Rosewood Adjustable Music Chair Circa 1820

19th century
Description

Superb quality Regency solid rosewood music or harpist's chair in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, with finely carved oversailing top rail and carved splat. The revolving adjustable circular seat supported by four finely turned and fluted legs with kick out toes and united with a cross stretcher. All in mint un-touched original condition with hardly a blemish. Great rich colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 34" high, 14" wide, 16" deep. 18" + seat height
