Elegant Maple & Co Quality Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Antique Writing Table
Of Maple & Co quality, this splendid inlaid writing table circa, 1900 has a leather writing insert and inlaid banded edge. This sits above one long mahogany lined drawer with the original decorative brass handles and again beautifully inlaid. This elegant antique table stands on four tapering legs with brass cup castors and has been finished all the way around so may be placed in the centre of a room. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
