Description

Remarkable pair of tall Art Nouveau marble top pedestals c.1900. 11" x 17" marble tops with deep ogee moulded edges. On shapely cherrywood pedestals, each with a candle slide and small drawer over little cupboards with unusual rounded doors . A true pair with left and right hand opening doors and mirrored decoration. Carved with acanthus leaves and concentric mouldings and with original brass knobs. Raised on short acanthus carved legs, continued on the sides. Note how the rear of the cabinets is also carved and polished. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
