Mahogany Canterbury Magazine Tidy C.1840

Description

Fine quality little early 19th.c mahogany Canterbury or magazine tidy c.1840. Divided into three sections with moulded rails on slim turned spindles and corner posts topped with segmented pommel tops. Solid mahogany floor over a single drawer in the base with cockbeaded front, small turned knobs and oak drawer linings. Raised on short turned and reeded legs in the manner of Gillows and with the original brass cup castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
