An outstanding quality Georgian revival walnut and burr-walnut occasional table.
Circa 1920.
Perfect height for use as a coffee table.
The solid walnut cabriole legs are particularly lovely, having such warmth and character. The carving is beautifully detailed. Having griffin heads, feathers, bell-flowers, ring-turning, ending in boldly carved claw & ball feet.
Above is a rectangular shaped top, over a gorgeously shaped apron, echoing the designs from the George II early 18th century. Having lovely richly coloured and figured burr-walnut veneers.
A beautiful item which stands beautifully.
In excellent antique condition. Expected minor signs of age and use.
