Description

A wonderful original Victorian period writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880’s.

It is of superb quality and is a great size, this is nicely polished on the back so can be used as a free standing item. The inset gold tooled green leather top contrasts beautifully with the solid mahogany frame.

There are lovely brass ring pull handles, this sits on beautifully turned legs which terminate in original porcelain casters. The drawers are solid wood lined and have fine hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with a gorgeous colour tone and patina.
