Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The configuration of the drawers is unusual, with the middle drawer being the largest. The oak chest is raised on bracket feet. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

Item Ref; M-2842
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 89cm / Width – 94cm / Depth – 53.5cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In well-worn antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and stains to the surface top (pictured). There is further wear, including minor losses to the plank top and side panels (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Overall, the antique oak chest is quite worn in places but remains a rather charming example of an 18th century oak chest of drawers.
