Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
A very elegantly shaped scroll chair.
This chair features shaped, moulded and scratch carved mahogany sides which creates the scrolled shape. The chair also features turned and fluted front legs and stands on solid brass castors on porcelain wheels.

This chair has been recently re-upholstered (approximately 5 years ago) to a high standard in a floral beige chenille material which is in a fantastic clean condition with virtually no wear, ideal for any period property. We have professionally cleaned the upholstery and carefully waxed the frame. The material could be left as it because of its fantastic used condition or it could be fully upholstered to your taste. We would be able to quote for re-upholstering this chair for you if you enquire.

This item is structurally solid, in good order with no loose joints. The material and inner padding seems to be in very good condition. The chair is very comfortable to sit in.
Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have some signs of wear and tear, however, we feel that these points are which adds to part of its charm and character with it being antique.
