Antique Two Piece Sycamore Butter Mould - Swan Treen

This is a 19th century sycamore two piece butter mould. carved as a swan.
These two piece butter moulds produced a 3D butter sculpture of a swan and were very decorative. It has two pegs on one side of the mould which fit into two holes on the other sde.
This mould measures 6cm w x 5cm h when closed.
