An antique Windsor elm and beech elbow chair. The antique windsor elbow chair has a beautifully turned spindle back, with shaped arms raised on turned supports. The Windsor elbow chair has a solid elm saddle shaped seat, raised on turned legs with ‘H’ stretcher support.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the seat, as well as a split to the front (pictured). There is further wear, including fading to the arms (pictured) and marks to the legs. The antique windsor elbow chair remains structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a rather great example.
