Description

An attractive and well proportioned antique pine trunk or blanket box. The antique pine blanket box has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious, painted interior. The antique pine blanket box retains its original metal carry handles to either side. Raised on a plinth base.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good rustic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches to the lid (pictured), and minor marks to the front (pictured). The pine blanket box has modern replacement hinges to the lid, and a painted interior. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique pine blanket box remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good example.
