The beautiful carved oak case having a shaped and scrolled pediment with central finial.

The white enamelled dial calibrated from 28" to 31" with weather indications in decorative red and black text, signed Z Barraclough, Leeds to the centre.
The barometer reading indicated by a blued steel hand, which can be recorded with a brass set hand.

The dial enclosed within a brass bezel and thick bevelled edged glass, surround by beautifully executed carved oak decoration.
The barometer is in good original condition and working order, accurately measuring changes in weather patterns as a result of changes in atmospheric pressure.

An excellent example of a beautifully proportioned aneroid barometer of the highest quality.
This particular style and quality of barometer would have been one of the best types available when originally produced.
