Description
An exceptionally elegant pair of English Regency birch wood chairs simulated to look like rosewood. The back rails of the chairs have 'c' scroll carving which lead down to drop in seats re-upholstered in a fine grey stripe fabric. The chairs have cushion moulded seat rails which stand on melon fluted and turned tapering out-swept front legs. The chairs are attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. The drop in seats can easily be reupholstered.
