Description

Circa 1900 a pair of unusual and well made, decorative iron fire dogs in very good condition. The design and shape is early Arts and Crafts.

They measure 15cm in height and the width is approximately 12.5cm. Each one weighs about 0.8kgs.

They have three splayed angular feet and a round finial on top. Underneath both is what appears to be the Victorian date Lozenge - see photos 4 and 5 - but the details aren't clear.
