Description

An absolutely charming tiny rug from the weavers at Seneh in Western Persia. I can hardly see the knots on the back they are so small, and what lovely colours. The changing shades of rusty red create the illusion of depth so that the yellow, heart filled medallion does seem to float. All original, including the super fine multi cord selvedges, nice to see them still there. A real gem for the collector. A very small area of repair in the lower right field.
