Antique Richter's Richter's Anchor Box Containing Building Stones & Instructions

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Opus Antiques

This is an interesting boxed set of building stones in three different colours. The purpose was as an educational toy to help children develop an understanding of complex structures.

Each brick is made from stone and there are a variety of shapes and sizes. It comes with some instructions and pictures for building complex structures. All housed in a wooden box with the original label on the lid. On the underside of the lid is a beautifully illustrated label of the bricks. Remarkably the box appears to have retained nearly all its bricks, maybe one small one missing.

The box measures 22cm w x 17cm d x 4cm h.
