Four Bentwood Bistro Chairs by Fischel C.1910

1900 - 1920
Description

Good set of four early 20th.c. bentwood bistro type dining chairs by the Czechoslovakian makers Fischel c.1910. Bentwood frames with curved top rails and turned spindles over circular seats with pressed decoration. Legs slightly splayed for stability and joined with hoop stretchers for strength. Original paper labels to the underside of each chair. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
