Cast Iron & Marble Top Bistro Table C.1870

19th century
Description

Late 19th.c. cast iron and marble top bistro table c.1880. 1¼" thick white marble top with rounded edges. On a good quality cast iron base painted black with scrolling and pierced detail. Joined with an arched brace below the top and a low stretcher. Note the wide pad feet to avoid damage to the floor. Some minor damage to the edges of the marble otherwise very good condition, solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
