A Rare 18th Century Silver 'Shrub' Decanter Label.

A desirable and rare Georgian silver 'Shrub' decanter Label. This wonderful piece is rectangular in shape, with 'clipped' corners and the word 'Shrub' is engraved to the centre. Shrub was a popular 18th century fruit liqueur made with rum or brandy and mixed with citrus fruits and sugar.

The border is reeded and the label is supported on a belcher chain.
