Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
It is larger than the usual ones we find, and of absolutely superb quality. There are four doors concealing three cabinet sections, all lined in sycamore. The burr walnut grain patterns are stunning throughout, even on the sides and the top.
The sycamore lined interior is well fitted out with lots of removable shelves, the middle section also contains two drawers, a pull out slide shelf and also a removable serving tray.
The top lifts off the base for ease of transport, though as you can imagine this is still a very heavy piece.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout for its age.
