Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a wonderful age-related patina that only time can produce. The brass weight and pendulum are in excellent condition, as is the enamelled beat counter.
The white enamelled dial has black Roman numerals with beautifully styled hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. Complete with original winding key.
As fine an example as you could wish to see.
