A rare antique Georgian 18th century lidded Tankard, with an applied S-scroll handle with foliate thumb piece attached to a high domed cover.
Both body and cover are beautifully embossed with impressive chased scroll leaf ornamentation with floral sprays, including grapes and roses.
The interior is Gilded.
