Description

A very fine and unusual fox mask doorstop. The fox head is beautifully modelled and cast in brass with a handle above it that is designed to simulate a riding whip. The piece retains the original cast iron weighted base. The whole is in excellent condition and is a wonderful period country house antique. C.1860.
