A Gorgeous Edwardian Silver Thimble & Chatelaine Case

An exquisite and desirable example of Edwardian sewing ware. The superb rococo case is repousse work and decorated with floiage and a vacant cartouche, to both front and back. There is an attaching ring to the top for a pendant or chatelaine and the interior is richly gilded. The silver thimble is also assayed for the same date, suggesting that it is the original. A fine and desirable collector's piece, usable today. Dimensions below.
