This Pair of leather William and Mary style wing chairs were made circa 1900.

The walnut frames in the high William and Mary manner, especially highlighted with the pierced carved front rail, joining the bold carved cabriole legs. The legs are joined by block and turned stretchers.

We have re-upholstered this in the traditional manner, covering it in fine russet hide, before our expert restorer has hand dyed and finished this in an antique finish so that it feels like it has been on this all its life.

Usually, we cover the seat cushions in leather, but we have chosen to do on this occasion using a velvet, this gives it a lovely contrast but also sometimes the leather can be slippery.
