A very Rare 17th Century Solid Silver Brazier standing on 3 claw feet on wooden spheres
 
Body of an inverted bell form, the lower body pierced with ovals and upper body pierced with a repeating design.
 
Turned wooden handle.
 
An Armorial crest to the front
 
Hallmarked to the Base
 
Weight 728 grams

Length including handle 29.5 cm
 
Braziers were used in medieval times to keep bowls or plates of food warm by resting them on top of the Brazier, which held burning coals
