Inlaid Satinwood Revolving Bookcase C.1910

Description

Very smart Edwardian revolving bookcase in satinwood c.1910. Sparkling satinwood veneers to the top and sides with fine inlaid ebony stringing, parquetry border and moulded edge. Over two tiers of shelves (depth 6¼") affording over six and a half feet of shelf space. Slatted sides, veneered and inlaid to match the top and a moulded and veneered plinth. Revolving on a crossed foot raised on the original ceramic castors. Missing a few small portions of inlay, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
