Large George V Silver “ Pig” Pin Cushion, Birmingham 1920

Description

This fabulous and very collectable silver mounted “pig” pin cushion is dated Birmingham 1920. It is a very sizeable example, measuring over 3 inches long and a little over 2 inches high. The silver casing beautifully modelled and with bags of character. Fitted with the original blue velvet cushion.

Hallmarks:

Makers marks indistinct.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "v" for 1920.

Dimensions:

Length: 3cm / 3.2 inches.

Maximum width: 3cm / 1.2 inches.

Maximum height: 5cm / 2 inches.

Condition:

Silver casing in very good condition.

Original cushion in very good order.
